about the gambrell presents series

When the original Little Fine Arts building re-opened in 2020 as the 63,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement, it was with a commitment to present a broad array of cultural experiences that foster exploration, creativity, and connection. This is the impetus behind the annual performance series featuring world-class touring artists as part of the Arts at Queens: Gambrell Presents series.

Gambrell Presents series goals:

  • Explore uses for Gambrell that foster broad community participation in the arts
  • Promote innovation and discovery through new artists, new works and new collaborations
  • Honor tradition and excellence by showcasing world-class performances
  • Expand and educate audiences through community/campus partnerships and artist engagement
