The Crowder Greenhouse at Queens University of Charlotte is a multi-zone ecological space on the top floor of Rogers Hall. Easily seen from Selwyn Ave, it is a hallmark trait of the science building. Run by HH Frey, it provides a plant collection and environment to support faculty and student learning and research. It also serves as a classroom, a living laboratory, and a restorative space for the Queens community to interact with plants to gain appreciation and knowledge of the botanical world.
We welcome you to the Crowder Greenhouse every Wednesday from 12-2pm in October to tour and visit!
Through films, art, literature, and lived stories, Earthwise invites participants into deeper engagement with both land and legacy. It is a space for those who believe that ecological understanding is not just science—it’s story, memory, movement, and art.
